idothank you

Thank you to everyone who contributed to my Birthday gifts.  The beautiful bouquet had to be separated into three bunches.  I have a vase in the lounge, dining room and bedroom, filling the rooms with their delicate fragrance.  The items of jewellery are exquisite.  I was so excited as I removed the wrapping to reveal a silver box with the words 'Blue Wing Gallery'.  Many a time have I stood at the window of the gallery in Church Street, Falmouth and admired the pieces on display.  Never have I ventured in as there are no prices on show and that indicates they are out of my league!  The workmanship of these two items is superb.  The choice of the rich red coral with the black veins running through is not only stunning but appropriate as a gift from the Dance School.  I will always treasure these.  As they are so precious I will not be wearing them at classes but reserve them for special idodance events.  So that everyone can admire them, they will be on display at our next Tea Dance and during the first week of classes commencing in September.

Thank you all very much for your generosity and making me feel so special.

Bea xx

Fishnets & Fedoras @ Feock

During the afternoon of Friday the 17th July, St. Feock Church Hall was transformed into a backstreet bar in Buenos Aires for an evening of Tango Argentino music and dance.  Our Dancers arrived, in appropriate attire, to a room dimly lit by red uplighters, set out with round tables dressed with a tea light and a single red rose.  Cutting through the smoky atmosphere was a recording of the stage show Tango por Dos, projected on the wall, featuring (in my opinion - excluding our Lee) the Master of Tango - Miguel Zotto.
